Restricted access Tree removal

We were tasked with the removal of a tree situated at the back of a residential building on a busy street in Southampton. The challenge? Access limitations due to a low-clearance garage/tunnel entrance measuring only 203cm high. To complicate matters further, the tree extended over three neighbouring properties, each with its own access points.

For navigating these obstacles while aiming for minimal disruption and maximum safety, we opted for a savvy solution: a compact tracked mini crane. This versatile machine, standing under 2 meters tall during transport, effortlessly manoeuvred through the rear car park entrance. However, once unfolded, it extended to an impressive 10 meters in height and boasted a lifting capacity of almost 2 tons, enabling us to tackle the task efficiently.

In just one day, the tree was successfully extracted, leaving no harm in its wake. Thanks to meticulous planning and the use of advanced machinery, we achieved our goal with minimal disruption to the surroundings, preserving the integrity of neighbouring properties and objects.

By employing this specialised equipment, we executed the removal with precision, lifting branches and timber delicately to the ground without disturbing adjacent properties. Our footprint was minimised, and the process streamlined, ensuring swift and safe tree removal. Branches were systematically craned out in sections and processed into wood chips onsite, while the crane gracefully hoisted out the tree's substantial stem from its challenging perch.
